Nice friendship slogans and quotes
Friendship isn't always easily described. The Eskimos, they say, have a hundred different words for snow. Unfortunately, the English language isn't quite as innovative, though it has vast opportunities to differentiate meaning. Certainly, Love is one of those opportunities. And so, too, is Friendship.
Instead of different words, however, we're stuck with simple adjectives. Close friend. Best friend. Childhood friend. Intimate friend. Trusted friend. Beloved friend. But whether you use adjectives or different words, few could deny the nearly infinite meaning in such a simple word.
Friends are special people. We can't pick our family, and we're sorely limited in the number of them at any rate. Society and mores (and often our own conscience) dictate we select a single mate. But our friends can be as diverse and infinite as the adjectives we choose. Our friends, in a very real sense, reflect the choices we make in life.
Below you could see nice friendship slogans and quotes; before which you could even have your look over the links:

Yahoo! Mail gets unlimited storage, Flickr may be next!
As people's inboxes continually expand, e-mail providers have been trying
to outdo each other to stay on top of the (literally) ever-growing market.
That's why, on the verge of the 10-year anniversary of the service, Yahoo!
Mail will no longer have a storage limit as of this coming May. Yahoo! Mail vice president John Kremer announced the decision in a blog
post early this morning, writing that their users now have the "freedom
to never worry about deleting old messages again."
Previous to this announcement, Yahoo! Mail's limit was 1GB, bumped up from
100MB in 2005. The move to 1GB of storage was made mostly to stay in competition
with Gmail, which was the new kid on the block and also touted 1GB of storage
at the time. This was leaps and bounds ahead of nearly all other web mail providers,
and services like Yahoo! and MSN Hotmail were struggling to find ways to stay
competitive.
Since then, Gmail has bumped up its storage space once again, to 2.83GB "and
counting... you'll never need to delete another message," which seems
to be Google's way of indirectly saying that their service also offers unlimited
storage space. Although Kremer told
Reuters that the reason for the upgrade was because of the increasing size
and volume of rich media files and photos in their users' inboxes, it would
be hard to believe that a major factor in the upgrade isn't once again tied
to Google's seemingly endless resources. It's unclear at this time whether
Yahoo! Mail will enforce individual file size limits as Gmail currently does.
Yahoo! wants to make clear, however, that this new unlimited storage option
is not without guidelines to protect against abuse. The web mail service is
meant for personal use, says the company, and will not tolerate spammers.
And Kramer doesn't want Yahoo! Mail users to get all worked up over a specific
date when a switch might be flipped: "we'll be rolling this out over
a few months to facilitate a smooth transition," he writes.
Kremer goes further in his blog post and alludes to a "future without
limits," fantasizing about hard drives that can never be filled and photo
cards that never need to be emptied. And indeed, Yahoo! co-founder David Filo
told Reuters that the company is considering lifting storage limits on its
other services, namely their popular photo-sharing service, Flickr. "We
are looking at those on a case-by-case basis," he said.

Antarctic ice sheet is thinning!
A Texas-sized piece of the Antarctic ice sheet is thinning, possibly due to global warming, and could cause the world's oceans to rise significantly, polar ice experts said.
They said "surprisingly rapid changes" were occurring in Antarctica's Amundsen Sea Embayment, which faces the southern Pacific Ocean, but that more study was needed to know how fast it was melting and how much it could cause the sea level to rise.
The warning came in a joint statement issued on Wednesday at the end of a conference of US and European polar ice experts at the University of Texas in Austin.
The scientists blamed the melting ice on changing winds around Antarctica that they said were causing warmer waters to flow beneath ice shelves.
The wind change, they said, appeared to be the result of several factors, including global warming, ozone depletion in the atmosphere and natural variability.
The thinning in the 3.2-km-thick ice shelf is being observed mostly from satellites, but it is not known how much ice has been lost because data is difficult to obtain on the remote ice shelves, they said.
Study is focusing on the Amundsen Sea Embayment because it has been melting quickly and holds enough water to raise world sea levels six meters the scientists said.
"The place where the biggest change is occurring is the Amundsen Sea Embayment," said Donald Blankenship of the University of Texas Institute for Geophysics.
"One, it's changing, and two, it can have a big impact," he said in a webcast with a number of conference participants.
Other parts of the continent also were losing ice, he said, but generally not as quickly.

What are the Steps to create a Podcast?
1. Listen to a few podcasts to get a feel for what others are doing. To listen, you'll need a podcatcher (podcast reader), which permits you to subscribe to podcasts in the same way you subscribe to blogs. I favor iTunes as my podcatcher of choice, which is a frëe online download. You'll also need to find podcasts, and the quickest way to do that is via podcast directories, which include the iTunes store. Podcast Alley, one of the most popular podcasting sites, has a large podcast directory, and Yahoo Podcasts has a podcast search. To find others, simply search online for "podcast directory."
2. Plan your podcast. Who is your target market? What do they want to listen to? How will your podcast be unique from others in your industry? What's your format (interview others, host a teleclass, or record yourself)? How long will your podcast be? How frequently will you deliver your podcasts?
3. Record your podcast. Many people choose to record their podcast with a frëe piece of software called Audacity. It has an easy learning curve and advanced features for more experienced podcasters. Mac users might want to look at Garage Band. For best recording sound, don't use the microphone that came with your computer or that is built into your laptop. You'll want to get a more professional one, such as the ones offered at Plantronics or Radio Shack.
4. Save and upload your podcast to your server. Once you've created your podcast in an mp3 file, you have to save it and upload it to a server via an FTP program (like CuteFTP) so that it's readily available. You can upload it to your website, or use one of the many podcasting hostÃng services available. The problem with uploading it to your website is that audio files are space hogs, and you can quickly exhaust all the storage capacity of your hostÃng account, not to mention your monthly bandwidth capacity if your podcast is popular and is downloaded frequently. That's why I use a fee-based audio service hostÃng company, Audio Acrobat, which offers me generous storage and bandwidth capacity for a semi-annual fee. Another popular podcast hostÃng company is Hipcast.com.
5. Create your podcast feed. You can create your podcast feed from scratch, but I recommend you use a feed service to do so. If you use a podcasting hostÃng service, this feature is included in your service package. For everyone else, the quickest way to create your podcast feed is through Feedburner.com. This is the same service that creates RSS feeds for blogs. The advantage of creating your podcast feed from this site is that you can create a browser-friendly feed, track your circulation, and enhance your feed with its SmartCast technology.
6. Publish and promote your podcast. If you use a podcasting hostÃng service, the service will publish your podcast and notify various podcast directories about the availability of your new podcast. Or, you can enter the info directly into the major podcast directories. You'll also want to promote the podcast on your website, blog, and in your email newsletter. One of the easiest ways to do this is to add feed subscription buttons (called chiclets) to your sites. You'll have to cut and paste the HTML code into your templates to create the chiclets. You can get directions on how to publish subscription buttons from the various podcasters you want to feature. Lastly, you'll want to create "album art" for your podcast, or a graphic representation that many podcatchers upload with the mp3 file. Album art may be from 170x170 to 300x300 pixels square at 72 dpi. Any graphic designer can help you create this graphics file.
7. Make monëy from your podcast. Advertising on podcasts is still fairly new, but some companies like Fruitcast.com or PodcasterAds.com are places to start. Another option is to place Google Adsense listings on all of your sites listing your podcast, or seek sponsors for your podcasts, just like you would for a radio show.
Don't let the audio world pass you by! Podcasting is a very inexpensive way of helping you get the word out about what you do and what you offër to the world.

Positive Attitude Tips & Information
Positive Attitude Tips & Information
Why Do Some Affirmations *Work* - and Others Dont?
By definition,an affirmation is a statement repeated time andagain either verbally or mentally-or written down. The wordsof the affirmation statement - in themselves -when spoken, thought of, or written *without* a pictorial (visualized) oremotional connection- make a very weak affirmation.
Positive Mental Attitude
Look at this glass on the table in front of you. Is it half-full or is it half-empty?
Top Ten Ways to a More Positive Outlook on Winter
Year after year I find more and more individuals saying to me that they were still waiting for the warm temperatures to arrive one more time before the snow comes. In many ways these individuals did not have a very positive outlook on the arrival of the winter season. What can be done to have a more positive outlook towards the arrival of winter?
Why Positive Thinking Doesnt Work!
There was someone I used to work with who, well aware of their tendency to look at the negative side of things, used to constantly tell themselves to "think more positively".
Power of Positive Beliefs
I am an educator as well as a coach and am interested in what it is that brings out the best in the people with whom I work. Over the last few years I have read a great deal of research on the power of beliefs. I am convinced that it is essential that I hold, and communicate to my students or clients that I believe in their ability to learn, to heal, and to grow.
Be Positive
This may sound quite aberrant to most of the younger generations who are not really exposed to the personality development articles, books or motivational lectures.
Positive Mental Attitude
Anamchara - Beyond Positive Thinking
One of the most well known books ever written on success is James Allan?s ?As a man thinketh.?
Your Mental Attitude is The Key!
As a being of thought, your dominant mental attitude will determine your condition in life. It will also be the gauge of your knowledge and the measures of your attainment. The so-called limitations of your nature are the boundary lines of your thoughts; they are self-erected fences, and can be drawn to a narrower circle, extended to a wider, or be allowed to remain. You are the thinker of your thoughts and as such you are the maker of yourself and condition. Thought is causal and creative, and appears in your character and life in the form of results. There are no accidents in your life. Both its harmonies and antagonisms are the responsive echoes of your thoughts. A man thinks, and his life appears.
Life Changing Attitude
Do you really believe that there is anything in this world that is impossible?
11 Great Ways to be Positive about Change
Look for the positives!Seek them out - those little scary places that it's challenging to let yourself go to - the positives are genuinely scary, because they give you hope and it's hard to let go of all the fears you have right now - so hanging onto them is the easiest path!So try letting yourself go, just for the heck of it!Take that step back from being 'done to' and take the initiative. At work, at home or wherever, this can be a great time, if you let it. There are loads of ideas why. Here are eleven of my favourites...Personal GrowthChange gives us great moments for self-development and personal growth. It is in times where there is a lot going on, where we have to get out of our box to think, even when change is imposed, that we move forward.Involving OthersDuring change periods we can create relationships that are new - and we, as managers, have a great chance to bring others into our confidence and into our network.AdventureThere is something about change, large or small which creates 'something different' from our routine day. This is pretty cool really. We are being provided with stimulating mental exercise to make the best of things happening differently. It might not look that way, but change brings adventure!Building it inLearning about big changes, means that we can closely observe why those changes are necessary. We have to make radical changes because we have strayed well off course. So as we learn, we can make provision to have some minor course corrections rather than completely the wrong destination.ChallengeIn his great book, 'The Inner Game of Work', Timothy Gallwey talks about the fine balance between security and challenge being what gets people motivated. By creating new things to learn, to do, we stretch our people - and ourselves.OpportunityChange brings new opportunity. For learning; for understanding ourselves better; for new perspectives; for different roles. These can be grasped personally or they can be dwelt on miserably. The better choice is to go for it!Team BondingChange exercises, big and small can be great to develop a team. Where there is the opportunity to work together, manager with their closest people there are often places, moments where the team spirit; the trust and the shared commitment - the 'Dunkirk spirit' even, enables future potential of a team to be loosened.HonestyWhere radical change proves necessary it enlightens those involved that where they are is not where they need to be. Carrying out a review of why serious change is necessary and seeking the real truth is very revealing. The icing on the cake for those involved in organisational change processes is to create a feedback loop that renders future major change unnecessary.ChoiceChange is not truly necessary. Change is about choice. You have the choice whether to accept it positively or not. It is your choice and everyone has that - believe it or not. No-one is holding you down to prevent you getting away. Take personal responsibility for the choices you make.FocusChange gives the opportunity for and usually gets really down to the gist of the issues that have precipitated the need. This is good. Your organisation is realising that things need to be different, for all sorts of reasons, but usually for the health of the organisation and that means you, usually. For some it may mean loss of role, status and even job - now what positive opportunity does that bring!PassionAnd finally, we have the opportunity to review our own roles, not just in the workplace, but in life too. Are you passionate about your work - or are you just muddling through? Are new opportunities presented to you personally through change - within or without the place where you work today? What is your personal passion and how do you work towards making that how you spend every day of your life?
Affecting Positive Results Through Affirmations
Last time we talked about how to begin building the mind's powerful framework for success. The lesson we needed to learn was that self-talk has a powerful affect on the results we achieve. We learned that the mind will manifest whatever we dwell on, be it negative or positive.
How Tapping The Goodness Within Attracts Positive Change
If your life is difficult--if it's challenging, exasperating, and vexatious-- then it's time to tap the goodness within.
Impact of Positive and Negative Catalysts on Events in Human Lives
Have you ever noticed what can happen if you just met a friend in the street and shared a cab? You are both in the cab, all is fine, you plan to attend a social function and suddenly your cab gets involved in an accident. The police comes and you are a witness in an unforeseen event. Per chance? Not quite. There might be an explanation. All people have vibrations emanating from their bodies. Some people have much stronger vibrations than others (as evident in the human aura) while others have energies very focused at a certain point in the human system (physical, mental or spiritual) and of greater strength than most. Such people are instrumental in attracting to themselves events of a positive or negative nature. As in the case of an earthquake that has an epicenter. I term such people as catalysts because that?s what they are.
Internet Tip of the Week: The Power of Positive Thinking
The late Norman Vincent Peale was a controversial preacher who burst into public consciousness with his best-selling book, "The Power of Positive Thinking". He believed that ordinary people could become really quite remarkable when they start thinking that they can do things, and when they believe in themselves, they have the secret of success.
